Graco Affix Youth Booster Seat with Latch System, Atomic

The Graco Affix is a highback booster car seat that comes with lower LATCH anchor straps to help keep the seat secure when no one is riding in it. It’s been crash tested to meet or exceed US standard FMVSS 213.

A unique front-adjustment strap makes it easy to tighten the booster LATCH straps. This seat also converts into a backless booster. It’s very similar to the TurboBooster LX, which we will also discuss in this review.

Read why the Clek Oobr High Back Booster gets a high overall review for comfort and safety

Clek Oobr High Back Booster

With even a quick glance, it’s pretty obvious there’s something different about the Clek Oobr High Back Booster Car Seat compared to other boosters. Clek has taken a smart design approach focused on safety with a booster that mimics features of a regular seat in a vehicle. It also added some valuable features to ensure your child enjoys not only a safe but also a comfortable ride.

In designing this convertible booster seat, Clek gave a lot of thought to what parents want in a booster seat and what would keep kids comfortable, especially on long rides. Here are some things that stand out:

  • A headrest that adjusts like those in your own vehicle. That makes it easier for parents to use.
  • A wide seat that provides comfort as your child grows.
  • The seat back reclines, which is always a plus on long rides.
  • A removable back, so it goes from high back to backless. This means parents save money because it accommodate their child longer.

These well-thought-out features complement the overall design of the seat. Parents also like that Oobr booster seat is made in the USA.

Is the Britax B-Lively & B-Safe 35 a good car seat stroller combo? Find out in our 2021 review.

Britax B-Lively & B-Safe 35 car seat and stroller combo

Travel systems are designed for families who love to get out and about. They’re more convenient to purchase and are sometimes cheaper than buying a car seat and stroller separately. It’s hard to find a travel system that meets every need, but Britax has your back.

The B-Lively & Be Safe travel system was released in late 2019. It features the B-Safe 35 car seat, which we reviewed earlier. The B-Lively stroller is a strong member of the Britax family. It’s a 3-wheeled stroller with several nice features.

The system comes in 3 colors: cardinal (red), dove (gray), and raven (black). At around $400, it’s moderately expensive. Purchasing each piece separately is approximately the same cost, depending on sales and discounts.

Is the Chicco Fit2 infant car seat a good choice for your family? Find out in our comprehensive review.

Chicco Fit2 Infant & Toddler Car Seat Tempo

The Chicco Fit2 infant car seat features a unique 2-stage adjustable base that provides a better fit for growing toddlers who are rear-facing. For those of you who are worried about your toddlers being cramped, this could be the extended rear facing car seat solution you’re looking for.

We’re already big fans of the Chicco brand. The Chicco KeyFit 30 has topped our list of infant seats for quite some time. This model has many of the same features, but the 2-stage base is the main new and innovative feature.

There are a few flaws in this seat that you may want to consider, specifically the heavy weight of the carrier and limited stroller compatibility. The Fit2 does have several other features the original KeyFit doesn’t, which may sway your decision in its favor.

Read our detailed review of the Evenflo Maestro combination harness-to-seat belt booster car seat to see if it’s the right choice for your family.

Evenflo Maestro Booster Car Seat Wesley

For a combination booster seat, the Evenflo Maestro isn’t particularly glamorous, but it has a lot of nice features that make it a real contender in the booster seat market. It comes in four color combinations – Wesley (gray/red), Taylor (gray/pink), Easley (dark gray/light gray block pattern) and Thunder (gray/bright blue).

It’s designed to hold your child from the time they’ve grown out of their rear-facing seat until they’re ready to ride without a safety seat. You should be able to get quite a few years out of it. However, the height limits aren’t as generous as they could be.

Compared to similar seats from other brands, the Evenflo Maestro is very budget-friendly at around $70. It comes with a 90-Day limited warranty from date of purchase and has a 6-year expiration date.
